Since beginning his career in June of 1995 as a Licensed Real Estate Agent, Mark has helped over 3,050 families in Kitchener-Waterloo sell their homes. This consistent peak performance has made Mark one of the few RE/MAX Agents throughout Waterloo Region to earn the prestigious RE/MAX Chairman’s Club Award from 2007 thru 2018. This places Mark in the Top 1% of ALL Real Estate Agents Nationwide!
Following completion of secondary school in Kitchener at KCI, Mark joined one of Canada’s leading grocery retailers. Operating in several managerial positions he gained valuable business experience. In January of 1977, at only 20 years of age, Mark joined J.M. Schneider, Inc. in Kitchener as a National Sales Account Executive. Serving with J.M. Schneider’s in various regions across Canada, Mark was awarded many times for his creative sales and marketing achievements.
Mark’s blend of entrepreneurial enthusiasm, along with his diligent work ethic, eventually saw him found Mega Pizza, Inc. in May 1987. In less than three years Mark and his team built the business into a chain of 7 award-winning pizza delivery stores in 5 different Ontario municipalities. He served as President until the business was sold in 1992.
Mark has a genuine passion for serving people and selling homes. Mark believes unequivocally an individual willing to pay for the services of a professional Real Estate Agent deserves only the best! Mark is a highly skilled win-win negotiator. He succeeds in getting his clients the best price and terms when either selling or buying their homes. Mark’s lifelong philosophy of putting his clients’ interests first has made him a standout in his profession!
Mark is past director of the Confederation Club of Kitchener-Waterloo and past director of the Twin-Cities Kiwanis Club. He is an active member and has served on the council at St. Marks Lutheran Church in Kitchener. Mark is an enthusiastic supporter of the Children’s Health Foundation, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Waterloo Region, Habitat for Humanity Kitchener-Waterloo, Meals on Wheels of K-W, Waterloo Regional Crime Stoppers, Rotary Club of Kitchener-Waterloo, Waterloo Regional Down Syndrome Society, and the KidsAbility Centre for Child Development. Mark was born and raised in Kitchener and incredibly still holds out hope of one day being drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs.
